Mae Meyer, RMT
Hi, I’m Mae, a Registered Massage Therapist and the founder of Solasta Massage, a solo practice based in Calgary, Alberta. I’ve been practicing since 2018, after graduating with honours from Vicars School of Massage Therapy. Over the years, I’ve continued to expand my skills through additional training in techniques like Active Release Technique (Upper Extremity), myofascial cupping, TMJ treatment, acupressure, aromatherapy, and more.
Massage, for me, is more than just physical therapy, it’s a way to tune into the body’s innate intelligence. I’m deeply fascinated by the interconnection of the body’s systems: how fascia, muscles, joints, and the nervous system work in harmony, and how therapeutic touch can influence not just pain and posture, but stress, emotions, and overall well-being.
At the heart of my practice is a client-centered approach. I take time to truly listen to your goals, your body’s patterns, and what’s present for you in the moment. Every session is customized, blending intuition with clinical assessment tools like postural analysis and palpation to create a treatment that’s both effective and deeply restorative. Whether you're coming in for focused therapeutic work or full-body relaxation, I aim to meet you exactly where you are.
In addition to relaxation and nervous system support, I also work with clients on more targeted treatment goals. I have experience treating a variety of athletes and active individuals through sports massage, injury rehabilitation, and focused therapeutic work aimed at reducing pain, increasing range of motion, improving mobility, and breaking down adhesions and scar tissue. These sessions are outcome-driven and adapted to support both performance and recovery.
I believe healing happens best when the nervous system feels safe and supported. That’s why my treatments often include a somatic, body-aware approach, helping you shift into a parasympathetic state where deep healing, regulation, and restoration can unfold naturally.
